These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of renoshield.io and related services (the "Service"), operated by Reno Shield ("we," "us," or "our"). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. The Service

Reno Shield provides AI-generated analysis of contractor quotes, including price comparisons, line-item breakdowns, and negotiation guidance. The Service is an informational tool to help you make decisions — see the disclaimer below.

2. Accounts

You must be at least 18 and provide accurate information when creating an account. You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your login secure.

3. Subscriptions & billing

Paid plans are billed in advance on a recurring basis (monthly or annually) through our payment processor. You can cancel anytime from your account settings; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Except where required by law or stated in our refund policy, payments are non-refundable.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Copy, scrape, reproduce, resell, or redistribute any part of the Service or its content.
• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code, models, or pricing data behind the Service.
• Access the Service through automated means (bots, scrapers) without our written permission.
• Use the Service to build or train a competing product.
• Misuse, overload, or attempt to disrupt or gain unauthorized access to the Service.
• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose.

5. Intellectual property

The Service — including its software, design, branding, the "Reno Shield" name and logo, content, and the underlying analysis and pricing methodology — is owned by us and protected by intellectual property laws. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Service for your own personal, non-commercial purposes. You retain ownership of the quotes you upload; by uploading them you grant us permission to process them solely to provide the Service to you.

Reno Shield's analyses, price ranges, and recommendations are AI-generated estimates provided for informational purposes only. They are not professional, legal, financial, engineering, or construction advice, and are not a guarantee of any price, savings, or outcome. Actual costs vary by project, materials, and contractor. Always perform your own due diligence and consult qualified professionals before making decisions. The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind.

7. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Reno Shield and its operators will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any decisions you make based on the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

8. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms or misuse the Service.

9. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
