Reno Shield ("we," "us," or "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect when you use renoshield.io (the "Service"), how we use it, and the choices you have.

Information we collect

• Account information. Your name and email address, collected through our authentication provider when you sign up.
• Quote data. The contractor quotes you upload or paste (text, images, or PDFs) and the analyses we generate from them.
• Payment information. If you subscribe, payment details are collected and processed by our payment provider. We never see or store your full card number.
• Usage data. Basic, privacy-friendly analytics such as page views and device type, used to improve the Service.

How we use your information

• To provide the Service — analyzing your quotes and generating reports.
• To manage your account, subscription, and billing.
• To communicate with you about your account and the Service.
• To improve and secure the Service.

Service providers

We share data only with trusted providers that help us operate, and only as needed:

• Clerk — authentication and account management.
• Anthropic — the AI that analyzes your quotes. Quote content is processed to generate your report and is not used to train their models via the API.
• Supabase — secure database storage for your account and analyses.
• Stripe — payment processing.
• Vercel — hosting and analytics.

We do not sell your personal information, and we never share your quotes with contractors or third parties for marketing.

Your choices

You can update your account details or permanently delete your account and all stored analyses at any time from your account settings. Deleting your account removes your data from our systems.

Data security

We use industry-standard measures to protect your data, including encryption in transit and access controls. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we work hard to protect your information.

Children's privacy

The Service is not directed to anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect data from children.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We'll post the new version here with an updated date.
